Things to do before I die

Here are a few things I want to accomplish in a very aspirational way (without being emotional).

  1. Write a book (done)
  2. Write 3 more
  3. Make a movie
  4. Write and sing my own songs
  5. Do a cartoon strip (at least 50 bits)
  6. Travel and write about it (constantly)
  7. Make doodles for a living
  8. Manage and own a restaurant that does unique things (also cook occasionally)
  9. Write & act in a play (acting is probably my toughest challenge)
  10. Own a bookshop and do interesting things in it

Well I think I have some clarity now.

    I thought of making such a list sometime ago, but fear it might go the way of my new year resolutions. That would suck, I mean, new year comes every year…

    DK, Amit… exactly the reason why I have verbalized. This has to happen soon, is not meant to be for show or a kind of resolution, which one breaks. Will revisit this page every time I do something on this list and strike it off.

    Shashi, I was hoping of doing something simpler, but I am open to an animation movie as long as you manage the technical skills necessary :)

    Was going to say I would like partner on the bookstore and then realised.. am sure two bookstores would be just fine. May be even next to each other eh? Really nice list..one tends to keep one inside all then time.. I guess verbalising it takes it one step forward to crystallising it. All the best.

    i would love to work with you on a bookshop. two heads together is better than one. in fact i know a few ppl who would want to be together on this.

    Sheece bhai, fantastic idea. I have a list like this in my little diary in my pocket. I keep adding to them. In 2007 I had one to two things on my list – to travel and to get a scholarship to do my Masters – no matter what. And I managed to do both. So I feel you can do it too.

    Count me with any help with the book store and the movie.
    They are on my list too. And I know I can always work with you. You are a comfortable part of my mindscape.

    I want to write short stories, I want to own tht bookstore with u and popularize my museum education programs, I want to own tht restaurant with u and acting well tht I have done, Mano ya na Mano :D
