No Flag Will be Hoisted Here

On the eve of 62nd year of Independence, I have only one thought -

How did we manage to screw up Kashmir so badly?

We time and again let ourselves be manipulated by political honchos. I cannot help but think that we are in the hands of mafia and not leaders. It’s a Black Day for me.

We cannot have the gall to celebrate it.

    I think you mean 62nd…and you are right…about not celebrating it.

    yes u r right. But hope is the last thing ever lost. I think we should ask ourselves 1 question while hoisting the flag: from the past 62 years, what have we done? Is Idia safer now or wot? pre-independence we were fighting against the Britishers, now we fight amongst ourselves. Why? Have we achieved Independence just because we wanted to…??? Why have we not invested enough of our resources (human) in making India safe? Beautifying our country, our motherland.
    We are just scarring our home with bombs. Does any1 hear….
