City Haikus

The autumn leaf -
sleepless in love
turning over and over

king bull –
wears a crow
as a crown

elegant cat -
we sit to eat dinner,
she waits to be served.

motorcycle monkey -
he saw me in the rear view,
sped away.

Today’s moon -
A night lamp.
God is reading a bedtime tale.

Sun rises in the west
And in some downtrodden country
Sets.

Spring on your face
Open your eyes slowly
And sing.

a lone ship
between tidal waves
followed by pharaoh
